Frequently asked questions

How to Make an Appointment with a Doctor or Schedule an Examination at the National Cancer Institute?

You can book an appointment in three ways:

  • Online booking via Health24

Starting from November 24, 2025, CT and MRI appointments can be scheduled online only via the Health24 mobile app or website.

  • by call center phone (044) 334-64-18, Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:30.

To avoid long waiting times when calling the Call Center, we recommend calling in the afternoon, when the line is significantly less busy.

  • in person at the Institute’s registration desk (Outpatient Department), Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:00 (Kyiv, 33/43 Yulii Zdanovskoi Street)

Attention, important information:
  1. Please do not create multiple appointments for the same examination. This limits booking availability for other patients and increases waiting times.
  2. Confirmation of CT/MRI appointments is provided only after a phone call from our operator. If the patient does not answer the call three times, the appointment is automatically canceled, and the time slot becomes available for other patients.
  3. Online booking for CT and MRI is available only for patients who have an electronic referral from their attending physician.

To book via the Call Center or registration desk, an electronic referral from your family doctor or attending physician is mandatory.

What Documents Should You Bring to Your First Appointment?
  • Passport or another identity document.
  • Referral from your doctor.
  • Medical records: discharge summaries, test results, scans.
  • For children — birth certificate and one parent’s passport.
How Long Does It Take to Receive Examination Results?

The time required to obtain results depends on the type of study:

  • General clinical tests, including biochemical and serological tests — up to 3 working days;
