Professional Medical Traineeship

Professional medical traineeship is an important stage in a physician's continuous development. It helps improve practical skills, master new treatment and diagnostic methods, and exchange experience with colleagues under the guidance of top-level specialists.

The National Cancer Institute is one of the leading clinical bases for training physicians of various specialties in Ukraine.

How the traineeship works

The traineeship program is designed by the Institute's specialists, taking into account the specifics of each specialty.

The traineeship lasts 1 or 2 weeks, depending on the field of training.

After completing the program, participants take a final exam and receive a certificate confirming completion of the professional medical traineeship.

Required documents

To complete a paid traineeship, the following are required:

• a letter of request or application from the physician;
• a concluded agreement with the Institute.

If the physician completes the traineeship while on a work assignment from their employer, they must provide:

• a copy of the assignment order;
• copies of the passport, taxpayer identification code, diploma, and specialist physician certificate, certified by the HR department.
