We perform modern endoscopic diagnostics for early cancer detection, staging, and morphological confirmation of diagnosis.
The National Cancer Institute's Endoscopic Diagnostic Department specializes in modern endoscopic diagnosis of cancer, in particular the early detection of cancer and precancerous conditions of the gastrointestinal tract. The department provides specialized medical care to patients from across Ukraine.
The department's main task is early diagnosis of cancer, accurate disease staging, morphological confirmation of diagnosis, and developing the optimal individual treatment strategy. The department employs highly qualified endoscopists with many years of experience working with cancer patients.
We perform modern minimally invasive endoscopic procedures, including EMR (endoscopic mucosal resection) and ESD (endoscopic submucosal dissection). These techniques allow removal of early-stage growths via endoscopic access, without open surgery, with maximum organ preservation and a shorter recovery period.
