Masterclass on Digital Competency in the Electronic Healthcare System

The Education Academy of the National Cancer Institute invites you to a CPD masterclass, "Optimizing Work with the Electronic Healthcare System: Analysis of Coding Errors and Algorithms for Maintaining Electronic Medical Records in Accordance with National Health Service of Ukraine (NHSU) Requirements." Places are limited.

About the Event

Participants will master practical skills and the methodology for working with electronic medical records, entering data correctly, and submitting reports in accordance with NHSU requirements.

Program

Day 1 — Methodology for Working with Electronic Medical Records (March 3, 2026)

13:00–14:30 — Basic Concepts of Entering Medical Data

• Legal aspects of declaring a record erroneous.
• Technical capabilities and system limitations when correcting electronic medical records.

14:40–17:10 — Hands-on work in the Electronic Healthcare System.

Day 2 — Working with NHSU Analytics (March 4, 2026)

13:00–15:15 — Step-by-Step Review of Key Concepts

• Monthly NHSU reports: structure, frequency, deadlines.
• Algorithm for quickly analyzing large data sets.
• Sorting by "Provider," "Interaction Class," and "Interaction Type" parameters.
• Criteria for including and excluding records from statistics and payment.

15:35–17:10 — Hands-on work in the Electronic Healthcare System.

Day 3 — Workshop: Errors and How to Fix Them (March 5, 2026)

13:00–17:00

• Classification of error types: diagnostic, procedural, technical.
• Algorithm for correcting electronic medical records through the recoding procedure.
• Analysis and correction of practical case studies.

Day 4 — Reporting and Finalization (March 6, 2026)

13:00–17:00

• Submitting the "Electronic Medical Record Recoding Report" (Form 066).
• Monitoring reporting deadlines in accordance with NHSU requirements.
• Summary and Q&A.
