Modern Treatment of Oncohematological Conditions According to Global Standards

The National Cancer Institute's Department of Oncohematology has modern therapeutic and diagnostic capabilities, enabling it to provide European-level medical care to our patients.

The department treats all types of chronic lymphoproliferative disorders: Hodgkin lymphoma, various types of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (indolent, aggressive, highly aggressive), and multiple myeloma. In a standard inpatient setting, patients can receive comprehensive, qualified care and modern treatment based on global standards (European ESMO, American NCCN) that have proven effective at leading clinics worldwide.

Our staff are active, proactive, highly professional oncohematologists. All specialists regularly take part in international symposiums and congresses and complete internships at leading clinics worldwide. The department actively collaborates with major European hematology clinics. It is also open to cooperation with all oncohematology departments in Ukraine.

Each year, the department and NCI host conferences with renowned European specialists and experts in lymphoma diagnosis and treatment. All staff work on developing national standards for cancer treatment in Ukraine. Thanks to the department's work, treatment effectiveness for its patients has reached European benchmarks.

Conditions the department specializes in

Diagnosis and therapy of lymphoproliferative disorders:

• Hodgkin lymphoma, non-Hodgkin lymphomas (of varying aggressiveness and indolence).
• Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
• Multiple myeloma, amyloidosis

General chemotherapy, including combination regimens standardized according to international protocols.

Monitoring of comorbid conditions, such as cardiovascular issues, particularly in CLL patients undergoing therapy.
