On September 25-27, the Congress of Anesthesiologists of Ukraine (CAN 2025) was held – one of the largest scientific and educational events for the anesthesiology community

|

The National Cancer Institute presented its achievements and experience in the field of anesthesiology at the Congress. Our experts not only took part in the event, but also became active speakers of the scientific program.

  • Professor Ivan Lisnyi made a presentation on the implementation of the ERAS strategy in Ukraine, which is an important step towards improving the postoperative recovery of patients.
  • Andriy Perkonos presented a report on the problem of interaction between an anesthesiologist and a thoracic surgeon.
  • Olga Ganol shared her unique experience of anesthetic support and postoperative management of patients after highly traumatic operations performed at the Institute.
  • Kateryna Semenshina and Andriy Tymoshenko presented a joint report “Bone metastases in prostate cancer: from pathogenesis to personalized control of chronic pain”.

Participation in the Congress was an opportunity for the Institute’s doctors not only to present their own achievements, but also to exchange knowledge with colleagues from all over Ukraine. This contributes to the dissemination of best practices and the implementation of modern standards in daily clinical practice.

We are proud of our specialists who represented the National Cancer Institute with dignity and made a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian anesthesiology.
