      How to Make an Appointment with a Doctor or Schedule an Examination at the National Cancer Institute?

      You can make an appointment in two ways:

      • by calling the Call Center at (044) 334-64-18, Monday through Friday, from 08:00 to 16:30.

      To avoid long waiting times when calling the Call Center, we recommend making your call in the afternoon, when the phone lines are less busy.

      • in person at the Institute’s registration desk (Outpatient and Polyclinic Department) from Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:00 (Kyiv, 33/43 Yulia Zdanovska Street).

      To book an appointment through the Call Center or registration desk, you must have an electronic referral from your family or attending physician.

      What Documents Should You Bring to Your First Appointment?
      • Passport or another identity document.
      • Referral from your doctor.
      • Medical records: discharge summaries, test results, scans.
      • For children — birth certificate and one parent’s passport.
      How Long Does It Take to Receive Examination Results?

      The time required to obtain results depends on the type of study:

      • General clinical tests, including biochemical and serological tests — up to 3 working days;

      • Bacteriological studies — from 3 to 7 working days (depending on the type of material and the need to determine antibiotic sensitivity);

      • Histological examinations — from 5 to 10 working days, unless it involves bone tissue or clinically complex diagnostic cases;

      • Molecular genetic tests — up to 14 working days (depending on the complexity of the study).

      Results can be obtained in person, by email, or through the referring physician.

      Can I Receive Treatment at the National Cancer Institute Free of Charge?

      Yes. For citizens of Ukraine, cancer treatment at the National Cancer Institute is provided at the expense of the state budget.

      Free medicines and medical products are assistance provided to patients of the National Cancer Institute at the state’s expense. The list of available medicines at the Institute is publicly accessible and updated once a week.

      Can I Receive Treatment at the National Cancer Institute if I Live in Another Region?

      Yes, the National Cancer Institute accepts patients from all regions of Ukraine, regardless of their place of residence. You can obtain a referral from your family or attending physician at your place of residence and then call the Call Center or visit the Institute’s registration desk directly to make an appointment.
